The EverHome software suite consists of the following products:

EverHome Home Viewer
EverHome Home Viewer enables you to control and monitor your home when connected to your Local Area Network.
EverHome Online Viewer
EverHome Online Viewer gives you the power to control and monitor your home from basically any internet enabled computer in the world.
EverHome Configurator
EverHome Configurator is a design tool that allows you to customise how your home is viewed and controlled.
EverHome Red5 Server Components
EverHome offers two extensions to the Red5 server - the 'EverHome' webapp and 'Broadcaster' webapp. 'EverHome' must be installed to support the EverHome Viewers, while the 'Broadcaster' provides the ability to stream audio and video to the EverHome Viewers. The audio can be the sound commands spoken by your home automation system or microphone input to the system and the video can come from a surveillance camera. The 'EverHome' webapp may be hosted on a Linux platform and there is a Linux version of the EverHome software available to be downloaded through 'My EverHome'.
What do you need?
EverHome provides a complete software solution for your home automation system.
The following hardware components are needed to take advantage of EverHome:
- Supported home automation system (currently only supports Comfort control systems)
- Dedicated home server computer running Windows or Linux
- For Online Viewer - Broadband internet connection with Flash Player 8 or above installed
- For Offline Viewer - Windows operating system (currently only tested on Windows XP)

To experience an interactive demo of the EverHome Online Viewer:
- If you have not already done so, you will need to register for an EverHome account
- Start a trial of the EverHome Online Viewer (instructions available here)
- Sign in and click the 'Specify My Server Address' link located on the 'My EverHome' page
- In the 'Your server address' field enter 'everhome.homeip.net' (that is the address of our demo server) and hit the 'Update Details' button
- Return to the 'My EverHome' page and click the 'Launch EverHome Online Viewer Trial' link, the EverHome Online Viewer program should appear
- Enter the security code '1234' and password 'demo' and press 'Log In' to view the demo (note: you may be prompted with one or multiple security alerts, click yes to accept the certificate and continue)
